Inspired by @近藤麻理恵 and have been tidying up my overloaded closets. I found this dress that I bought when I was 15 years old (23 years ago!) and it still kinda fits. I think it’s a keeper since it matches my new bag🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m realizing that I’m like my mom I hold onto everything - newspaper clippings, knick knacks, souvenirs, clothes and more clothes! It’s a struggle because many of these things spark joy but the clutter is for real.

maloleche I think the best question about things in a house is “would I take it if I moved?” If no get rid of it. If yes then it’s important to you. No one need apologize for the things they care about.

terryjao BTW I don’t throw-away stuff that I can still wear, even it’s just around the house. That’s like taking money (about 30 dollars per item) and throwing the money away.

terryjao THINSPIRATION PHOTO. I still have jeans from age 15.... not even close to fitting (I increased waist size by 4 inches). Perhaps time to diet until they fit again!
