The Prince of Wales has sent a letter to the President of The Republic of Rwanda, @paulkagame, to mark the 25th Anniversary of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
Recognised as the International Day of Reflection, April 7 begins the national commemoration period with Kwibuka (Remembrance) and concludes with Liberation Day on July 4, marking the 100-day period in 1994 that resulted in over one million people being so tragically killed. #Kwibuka25

Your royal highness, I understand the importance of this day to the people of Rwanda. My question to your office is why are you then unable to apologize to Acadians whom the Crown deported, during which many have died either in the deportation or in the journey back to their homeland. Your message today proves that even if these actions have happened in the past, they need to be acknowledged and proper reparations made. ??

Will you ever pay a tribute to the Baltic Countries, when white people were killed in a nasty genocide and how many more were killed in a holocaust stations???
