I heard about the Grampians for the first time from my coach, mentor and friend Rupi Messner. He told me about crazy sandstone features in the Hollow Mountain cave and beautiful routes on the famous Taipan Wall. I had to see it myself and after my graduation from high school in 2006, I spent 4 months in Australia. The superb climbing opportunities as well as the warm welcome by the Aussie climbing scene left a big impression. In 2012 I returned with @キリアン・フィッシュフーバー and once again I was blown away by the quality of the rock and the beauty of this special place. I really hope that the climbing community can help to preserve this unique area!
