I was blown away by the way the entire community are trying to find a new way of coexistence with refugee the host communities. We understand that it’s hard and there are still many problems and obstacles but I saw the future and hope there, with the progress they’ve made. Even if it might take time, as long as we keep supporting them, I believe that it’ll happen someday. Also had an unforgettable experience with such talented musicians & athletes in the camps. Yes, KAKUMA, you’ve got talent. We were all amazed and moved to witness how strong you can be once you found your talent no matter what situation you are in and how independent you are trying to be with your own skill and talent. Really strong. Big respect to all the UNHCR staff, the national government of Kenya, the county government of Turkana which is led by awesome Governor Nanok and everyone who supports them including generous host community members. Again, KAKUMA, Thank you for having us and showing us the way you are.
