AD To the north east of Austin, in an eco-conscious development called Mueller, there are fifteen futuristic flowers sprouting behind a retail estate. Their petals are solar panels which produce energy for the city's power grid, and a lot of it too- since they've been installed they've offset about 565,103 miles worth of carbon emissions from the average American car. If you ever find yourself in Mueller it's also worth looking out for the old control tower- it's pretty much all that remains of Austin's original airport (which was used up until 1999). Although I did hear rumours that other clues hinting at the area's former life can be found like rusting departure signs, but I didn't stumble upon any relics unfortunately #UnitedStories @Visit The USA @visitaustintx #TrueAustin
