Between the Wild West wilderness setting, the Russian heritage, and the Native culture both past and present, it’s a fascinating town. There’s so much to see and do and EAT, you really should add this wonderful town to your travel list.

kjjones1949 Sitka is great! But my favorite Alaska town is Skagway. So old, so much history about the gold rush. And the most amazing train ride up into Canada. I could spend weeks there!
