London is enjoying some wonderful spring weather today💐🌞 This exquisite peony was made by Mary Delany in 1778. Delany created nearly 1,000 of these paper collages depicting all kinds of plants and flowers. Friends would send her specimens from across the world, and botanist Joseph Banks sent her flowers from the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew to imitate in paper.
