ISIS has lost all of the land it once controlled in #Iraq and #Syria, as the U.S.-backed, Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces declared a "100% territorial defeat" of the extremist group on March 23. The declaration comes after the battle for Baghouz, a village in eastern Syria that was ISIS' last sliver of territory, a speck compared to the land it held at its peak. The group's shadowy leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, remains at large. With a $25 million U.S. bounty, @apnews reports, he is the world’s most wanted man.
