Have you ever heard of Coquerel's sifaka (Propithecus coquereli)? It’s native to the deciduous forests of Madagascar, where it lives in groups of up to 10 individuals. This primate is mainly arboreal, with leaves making up the majority of its diet; its teeth are specialized for grinding plant matter. Its name comes from the “shif-auk” sound it makes when making its way through the treetop.

At one point I believe there was a lemur on display that was a coquerel's sifaka, but it was labled verreaux's sifaka (or vice versa). Did that ever get changed? Or maybe the specimens were just really faded.. but i was pretty sure?
