Earlier today @hrhthedukeofyork presented Operational Medals to 360 soldiers from the 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards at Windsor Castle.

The Medals Parade, witnessed by families and friends, commended the Grenadier Guards’ highly successful tours of Iraq, Afghanistan and South Sudan last year.

The Duke of York is Royal Colonel of the Grenadiers, which is a regiment recognised globally for its dual role excellence on operations and ceremonial duties.
