We know many of you follow our stories about our feral friend, Toby. He is one of MILLIONS of homeless animals left to live a grunt life of survival from the elements, wildlife, traffic, lack of adequate food/water sources etc. ☹️ . . We now have a new feral furbabe who has started visiting us consistently. A fellow panther who is terrified of humans and other cats. We named her Tulip yesterday, on the first day of Spring. 🌷 . . Our message today is this: 🔻 SPAY/NEUTER your animals!!!! It’s simple and affordable and NECESSARY. There are also options available to pet owners through lower-cost spay/neuter programs and clinics. To find a lower-cost spay/neuter clinic near you, visit the ASPCA's Free and Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Database. 😊 . . If you are not in a position to properly care for animals it would best that you don’t become a pet “owner” (mom actually strongly dislikes the term “owner” because she feels we are family, not property). All it takes is two stray and/or outdoor cats who haven’t been fixed to produce an entire homeless colony, which often results in animals suffering. 💔 . And that concludes today’s message. . .
