#hypelife: A cherry blossom-inspired torch has been revealed for the #Tokyo2020 @オリンピック. Designed by Tokujin Yoshioka, the torch has been dressed in rose-gold and takes on the shape of a sakura. It’s been crafted from the same cutting-edge technology used to create Japan’s bullet train and makes use of aluminium construction waste left over from the housing units made for the 2011 tsunami victims. The Olympic torch relay will kick off in Fukushima on March 26, 2020 and end in Tokyo on July 10, 2020.
