I knew I wanted to get to THIS place: the precarious camp 2 on #AmaDablam. I knew I wanted this shot, and even though I'm not a mountaineer, I climbed up to 21,000 feet to get it. In this image you can see Danuru Sherpa coiling ropes that will be used to make the safety lines for commercial expeditions to the summit of this epic peak. Only four to five tents can fit at camp 2, and they all tilt. Above this spot, there is no space for a real camp and too much danger of an avalanche.
