This sculpture by French-Israeli artist #ChanaOrloff playfully recalls Auguste #Rodin’s “The Kiss.” The frank depiction of sexuality in Rodin’s nudes scandalized Victorian-era viewers. Four decades later, “The Dancers” is equally provocative: Orloff uses the heavy angular style of modern architecture to depict a scene of everyday sexuality, rarely a subject of monumental treatment.
