@timvanlaere_tvl prepares to open a new Office KGDVS-designed gallery in Antwerp. Van Laere chose the studio for its ability to reduce architecture to its essence: It’s a straightforward building made in a brutal way, says architect David Van Severen of the design. Van Laere opened his first gallery in the Zuid district of Antwerp when he was just 27 years old. This new space can be found in Nieuw Zuid, a new quarter with cultural aspirations.
