I think Love is the most amazing power in the world. It is so powerful that I fail everytime I try to talk about it, write about it (like now). Yesterday I was blessed to see the Love in front of me, and I touched it, smelled it, try to take picture of it. As I said on my last post, I was looking for a guy that retired his beloved guide dog. I found him, one day before he moved to USA to continue working as a software engineer for Google. I took a plane directly to him and his dog Timmy. His dog was donated to him from an american NGO @guidingeyes and they became an unique body since them. Timmy did his best to his best friend for 10 years and now he is retired. Every guide dog needs retirement after 9, 10 years. Off course a retirement is not put your dog on the streets, retirement for them is to stop work as guide. Working as a guide is being a dog like every dog with a layer of responsability and care. Every time a guide dog is retired he can stay with the same person that he helped, he can stay with close friends and family or go to adoption (there are huge lines of people trying to adopt them, but just a few available to adoption every year). Lucas has the most amazing friends in the world that lives in the same building of him in Brazil and live closely to Timmy for many years. They will take care of him while Lucas move to USA. I could not imagine how hard was this decision to them until meet them today. It is just possible because there is love on it. Lucas could move to USA with Timmy, but as a retired dog Timmy will not follow Lucas everyday to work, restaurants, meetings and trips. He will be alone in home. And Lucas will not be able to play with him on parks and take him to a walk like a ‘normal’ dog. So, he decided to made him live as a ‘normal’ dog with his closest friends @gimdluca @hidasy that alteady lived with Timmy. @lucasradaelli you bright my day, you are an inspiration my friend, thank you for show me the Love today. Have a good flight! (on the video Lucas is taking the harness out for the last time and I cried) . . o texto traduzido nao cabe aqui, mas ainda bem que o Instagram tem a opcao de traducao aqui embaixo :)
