●観客は、現地の方々が多いとのことでしたが、日本人アーティストのライブでは珍しいことですか？
▶︎ここ数年やっと、現地のニューヨーカーに本当の意味で受け入れられるアーティストが増えたと感じます。Perfume、BABY METAL あたりでしょうか。ONE OK ROCK はその最もな例かもしれません。

●ONE OK ROCK現地ファンの反応を、どう感じられましたか？
▶︎原語 （ 日本語 ）で、ステージに合わせて歌っているニューヨーカーも多く、ネット世代の新しい音楽シーンを垣間見た気がします。

●ONE OK ROCKが海外でもファンベースを築いている理由は何だとお考えですか？
▶︎おそらく、本当の意味でボーダーレスな国を選ばない音楽を提供し続けているからではないでしょうか。ニューヨーカーの肥えている耳を納得させるだけの実力だと思います。

● In your blog, you mentioned that majority of the audience were local people, can you tell us if that's quite unique for Japanese artist?
▶ In the past few years, we've finally started to see that more and more Japanese artists have been accepted by local people in a real sense. Perfume and BABY METAL are the good example. ONE OK ROCK is the most accepted artist among all.

● How did you feel about local fan's reactions to the new songs?
▶ I saw many New Yorkers sang a long in Japanese which gave me a glimpse of new music scene of the digital natives.

● What do you think the most reasons why ONE OK ROCK has been building up the overseas fan base.
▶ It's probably because they have been making boderless music which does not limit to certain nationalities. They can even satisfy the New Yorkers who have a good ear for music.

●Profile of Yoshiaki Takahashi
He is the CEO/publisher of Nationwide Japanese free news paper called 'New York BIZ.' He lives in Manhattan and covers the latest information of New York. He also interviews with many famous people from various fields including musicians. As for ONE OK ROCK's NY show, he went to the show as a fan.
