CCC: Camel Coat Classic ? ? | I haven’t worn this belt in eons. Truthfully, I was a little ? of seeing it on everyone and their mama, but bought it back out to pair with my camel coat, which I’m digging! How do we feel? Still like the belt or does it need a longer rest? morganschadegg I love the outfit and I love the belt with it! I don’t wear mine as often anymore because I see it so much. But I think that has made it better as I think about how I wear now instead of just pairing it with everything. What really drives me crazy is all the bloggers pushing the counterfeit versions on amazon. They call them “dupes,” but in reality they are illegal counterfeits that supports an industry linked to human trafficking and organized crime such as terrorism. Just because it’s on amazon doesn’t make it ok. I’ve even seen bloggers complain about amazon removing the links! That’s what really has me nuts about the belt. Too many bloggers are giving counterfeits a comeback and it is NOT ok.

suuuueeeee It’s definitely “on trend” and yes a ton of people are wearing it. I don’t work in fashion but am referring to everyday girls I see and/ or work with. But that’s also because I live in NYC like you. At a client meeting, she was wearing the belt. Was considering getting it and I showed a friend. She goes oh, “3 of my coworkers have that one!” Was waiting to harass a friend for his employee discount but decided no, I don’t like the over-saturation. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

meagansmoda I have the same one and still love it, also have worn it like this over my camel coat! I do agree that the way it’s been styled by some bloggers is a bit tacky though 😬That may sound bad...anyway, I also have the black Celtic style YSL belt from this fall and I’ve been wearing that more often!

j9dny I still love this belt even though it floods my IG feed. I bought the thinner version in the nude rose pink color to switch it up, a twist on the classic if you will. I’m eyeing up the black ysl you just got instead of getting the black Gucci!

kellymacneal09 It is not 👎🏻 for the average person but I agree with @victoria_2.0. Not only do I see EVERY blogger wear it but every high school girl here in California wears it as well so I’m over it. Still looks great on you though!

joanne_ayoub_ @bitsofmydreams yep over a bathing suit. I couldn’t believe it. And on more than one occasion. I’ve seen it several times. Of course they didn’t swim lol it was a just to show off a brand name 🙄🤣
