erikacspassos <3 My birthday is coming!!!! <3 On the last two years I wanted to do something different (as always!), but I would like to honor my grandmother too, she was treating a breast cancer. She was not so excited, but I didn't give up on the idea. Today she is healed and I am going to be 14 years old!!!! We have a lot of things to celebrate. So, this year I am going to ask something reaaaaally different, a request to gift all the women in breast cancer treatment, therefore I will thank my heal and my voinha's one (haha this is how I call her). Who wants to give me a birthday gift, I am asking lipsticks and makeup in general, to distribute to women and girls in treatment at INCA 3 (a cancer reference hospital). You may be asking " why would a boy ask for lipsticks and makeup?" Well, I will explain! As a boy who had cancer/leukemia, I have never worried about my apearance, but seeing my voinha Sonia Borges Barros in treatment I noticed that she became very sad with her hair and eyebrowns loss, I saw her hidden crying....voinha is veeeeeery meticulous about her appearance, but as much as my mother dyed her eyebrowns or did her makeup, she didn't become excited. She received a lot of wigs, but none became her really happy. So I started noticing that, for women, meticulousness about appearance is heavier than the disease or the treatment. This was the moment when I thought: " What about if I took some lipsticks to them with some sayings as 'sometimes everything the makeup needs to be perfect is a happy smile', 'the best makeup is a smile on your face', or 'you are pretty and strong', and with the lipsticks some hugs from people who cooperated? I'm certain they would enjoy it and I would feel myself as part of their healing process, as there were a lot of people who were part of mine. A positive, hope and faith energy exchange, showing that everything will be all right for them as it was for me. What do you think about my idea? Would you help me with this wish? You don't need to donate expensive things, but we need to pay attention not to be a product which could cause more harm to our Warriors!
