In light of 3 separate incidents this week, we’d like to take a moment to say thank you to the fans who are always looking out & notifying us of unlicensed usage of our photos or one of our cat’s likeness through what’s called derivative works (like an illustration or painting of a public figure, brand name, or even a logo or its likeness) specifically for purposes of advertising a brand or product, and/or use on merchandise or any salable goods without our knowledge, consent, or a licensing agreement in place.

It’s a wide spread problem across social media for any human or pet account with a sizable fan base. I have much more to say but for now I just wanted to quickly give a heartfelt thank you to the fans, friends, and other pet accounts who are always looking out for us and one another! ➖
We truly appreciate these situations being brought to our attention and we encourage you to notify an account if you see something involving their content that doesn’t look legitimate. ?❤️

*Sharing this across all 3 accounts since all 3 have been victims (today was Tater Tot’s 1st time...his image was being used to promote a page across their website, social media, and on product but they promptly ceased use once they were notified) so please excuse if you see more than once. ❤️
