This is a story about relationships too good not to share. I am fortunate to meet so many different people all over the world doing what I do and there are so many people Ive met that has inspired, influenced and touched me in so many ways over the years. Yesterday I played with a guy in the pro am, a british guy who has lived in Singapore for 21 years with his wife and family. We started talking about relationships and marriage. (Trust me, Ive heard most stories in the pro ams over the years, but most of them being about wives not letting their husbands play golf, and maybe a bit of moaning and complaining about other things that their wifes does haha?, so a lot of relationship lessons has been learnt over the years haha). This guy said he and his wife have never argued in 21 years of being married. I was impressed. He said early on they had a disagreement causing him to take his dinner plate and go into the bedroom to eat, just to be followed by his wife saying “Stop. Do you enjoy this?” He obviously didnt. So the wife goes. “Alright. Well lets never do this again”.... and they have never had a fight since. This guys story really touched me and will be one of the inspiring moments I will never forget. I know no one is perfect but it shows that disagreements or fights doesnt need to happen to solve things. I dont believe in arguing with your significant other, and me and Kev are coming up on 2 years together without ever fighting. Planning on keeping it that way and its refreshing to hear great relationship stories like this so hopefully it can inspire someone else too. ?

chester.bond_007 Anna, our preacher told us (31 years ago) marriage is not 50-50. It’s 110-110. It’s about respect and don’t cross the line. We took that seriously and have not ever had a fight. You have to know when to back off regardless if you think you are right or not.
