Many cotton species are genetically engineered to improve durability and lifetime.
longer fibers, softer touch, whiten the color and so on...

however, this cotton is almost no breed improvement and harvested by hand-picking.
it's a quit nearly to the "original species".
natural touch, natural ecru color and will fade naturally..

栽培から収穫まで、すべて手作業で行われるコートジボワール綿。品種改良がされていない、”原種に近い”と云われるこの綿でデニムを織り、JAPAN BLUE JEANSが世界で初めてジーンズに仕立てました。
