I’m trying to embrace my natural hair. ? If you’ve been watching our stories you’ve seen this already. Let’s call it my before pic lol. I know I need a haircut to remove some of the damage but I’m excited to see where it will go! ??‍♀️ Any tips are greatly appreciated! mmmsmashing I use Redken Curvaceous Ringlet! It’s a cream and it’s amazing because it is lightweight but still curls and I can go without washing my hair for days and continue to use it. I mix it with oil before putting it all over. It’s the best thing I’ve ever found and how I truly embraced my curls.

faraway529 One thing I’ve been trying recently is adding oil (argan, coconut, almond, whatever you’ve got) to my length the night before wash day. Since your ends don’t get the natural oils that your roots do. This also stops me from being able to avoid wash day since my hair is all gritty.

katswaves Your hair is SO pretty!!!!!!! If Stef needs encouragement, my Insta is dedicated to makeup & my wavy hair journey so I have some before/1 year into CG photos! I also have some from when I first started and my roots were the only part of my hair that was wavy!

danachristineh @eleventhgorgeous I love the Curly Sexy Hair Creme it’s amazing and a little goes along way!!! I stopped using it because I fell in love with the Redken fashion waves but it was discontinued now I’m back on Curly sexy hair. And the smell is amazing

auroraj42 How do I find out more about the curly girl method...I have wavy hair, buy it didn't get wavy wavy until after I had kids and moved where there is no humidity...I had stick straight hair until a few years ago!
