Cold and desolate is what this spot looks like and to a certain extent that's true. The black surface made of volcanic rock extended as far as you can see going into the hills far far away and into the sea close by making for a really alien looking landscape the likes I've never seen anywhere else. And yes it was really cold, hope the summer comes soon because I think I've had enough of snow and winter ? What season's your favorite?
