b_dunny84 The old rule was you could wear them if you were the host. Most people don’t host BT events at their homes anymore so I think it’s legit to wear them when it’s your wedding or at an event that you’re heading. One thing though that I learned a few NYE’s back was that if it’s snowy/salty, you’ll be constantly worrying about them getting ruined instead of enjoying yourself so you may want to buy galoshes as well just in case.
