"With a hot coffee clasped in her gloved hands (it was cold this week!), Hill ventured out to her first gig. She took Vogue along for the day, lifting the curtain on what it’s really like for a model to run to and fro during Fashion Week. Hill showed us around backstage, reminisced about going to 12 castings a day when she started out at the age of 15, and stopped to grab some pizza for herself and her fellow models. When the coast was clear at the Anna Sui rehearsal, Hill even showed off her gymnastics skills and did a backbend on the runway. A grind, indeed, but hey, why not just enjoy it? Being a model is a pretty fabulous job, and no one knows how to do it better—or how to have more fun with it—than Hill."
