All of us at the House of Dior are deeply saddened by news of Karl Lagerfeld’s passing. He will be greatly missed by everyone in the fashion world. #FrancoisDemachy, Dior Perfumer-Creator, said: "At Fendi, Karl Lagerfeld and I created a perfume together. He was very erudite about perfumery, both in terms of its history and scents. To me, that was quite remarkable. Such precision was typical of his dazzling intellect. Talking with him was speaking with a fellow perfumer. With his loss, a page has turned."
