Farewell Karl Lagerfeld. Ever since the 80s I was obsessed with all things Chanel! My first designer purchase was a Chanel fanny-pack. On my first appearance on Johnny Carson, I wore a $30 vintage dress and a $300 Chanel necklace! When I got nominated for an Oscar, Chanel lent me clothes to wear on my publicity tour, a dream come true!
Karl was a true icon. His passing is a tremendous loss to the Fashion community. The end of an era.
