I made a painting of fish for my upcoming exhibition at Gagosian Beverly Hills @ガゴシアン・ギャラリー . I was inspired by a large ceramic vase from the Yuan Dynasty China called Qinghua (blue flower)—I basically traced the motif. It took me about 15 years to digest the subject in order to finish the work. I was finally able to complete it, but I worked without sleep for many consecutive nights; this footage shows me falling from a step ladder. Sigh...
By the way I was listening to @ポスト・マローン songs.
