Summer of Love: On 25th August 1967 #photographer Terence Donovan visited Jimi #Hendrix in his home in Upper Berkeley Street, a visit that resulted in this historic #portrait – capturing a quiet Hendrix at ease and at home, swathed in and surrounded by his treasured colourful #textiles. A 22-year-old Hendrix had moved to #London the year before, and by the point this #photo was taken he had already achieved mythological status. This historic and #psychedelic #photograph will be offered at #auction as part of our ‘Made in Britain’ sale on 20 March.
