The idiom “A feather in your cap” can be traced back to the tradition of warriors adding a feather in their headgear for every victory. This season, I asked my friend of many years (and, collaborator of many fashion show seasons) Stephen @スティーブンジョーンズ to work with me, @kegrand and @guidopalau @Diane.kendal during the looks/and fittings and ‘start’ with our simple knit caps and beanies and turn them into something whimsical, charming, dramatic, unique and special! As always Stephen worked with his assistant Julia- this time thru 3 very long days and nights creating, imagining and embellishing each cap using a variety of feathers from different birds. The result was super stylish and yet felt effortless. Perfect, and, in complete harmony with each woman’s individual look and unique character.
