ラッパー5lackをフィーチャーしたNTTドコモ「Style'20」CMソング「東京」を皮切りに、再び活発に活動を開始した下田法晴によるソロプロジェクトSILENT POETS。
今年2月に発売した12年振りのオリジナルアルバム『dawn』では、5lack, NIPPS, こだま和文, 櫻木大悟 (D.A.N.), Hollie Cook, Leila Adu, Miss Red, Addis Pabroなど国内外の豪華アーティストが集結し話題となった。
また収録曲「Asylums for the feeling」は小島秀夫監督による新作PlayStation®4(PS4®)用ソフトウェア『DEATH STRANDING』のトレーラー映像に使用されるなど、世界中に新たなファンを獲得している。
2018年6/24に渋谷WWWに行われ話題を呼んだSILENT POETS25周年を記念したキャリア初のフルバンドでの奇跡的なライブを『SAVE THE DAY』として映画化。只今劇場公開中。（吉祥寺UPLINKにて2月15日（金）～21日（木）まで）

Japan “SILENT POETS” is a solo project by Michiharu Shimoda.
His new album “dawn” released last February, his first in 12 years, is known for it’s collaboration with a worldwide range of talented musicians, among them are 5lack, NIPPS, Kazufumi Komada, Daigo Sakurai from D.A.N, Hollie Cook, Leila Adu, Miss Red, Addis Pabro, etc.
A track titled “Asylums for the feeling” in the album was selected as a theme song for PlayStation®4 “DEATH STRANDING” teaser trailer, directed by Hideo Kojima. Michiharu’s exposure to new music opportunities has attracted more fans from all over the world.
On June 24th 2018, SILENT POSTS’ 25th anniversary live was performed with a full band for the first time at Shibuya WWW. The show limited for that night only attracted great attention. Yet, for those who missed this miraculous night, his performance is now revived as the movie “SAVE THE DAY” and back at the theater.
