Happy Valentine’s day! I’ve outgrown the romantic gestures and wanted to do something different this year. So my @emcosmetics team and I created a new vibrant red shade called “ Love “ where 100% of all profits will be donated to @love146 , an organization close to my heart, dedicated to ending child trafficking. The story on how this non profit was founded still gives me chills, you can learn more on their website. I learned from the CEO, Rob Morris that the first thing many of the survivors who come into their survivor care request, is a hairbrush and a lip color. ? Beauty is truly empowering... and this inspired us to create a new lip shade dedicated to their strength and courage. Sometimes I have days when I just want to give up, but when I learn about the survivors and despite all they’ve been through, how they still find moments of joy, I find myself picking myself back up. ?
