Mary of @fivemarysfarms recently hosted the first of five Small Business Workshops that she designed to teach women in agriculture how to build their business from the ground up and save their family farms. It’s things like this that make us proud of our #friendsofcarhartt.

“Fifteen women in agriculture participated in the inaugural workshop from all over the US and Canada. All entrepreneurs with their own small business or family run farms, dairy, ranch or small business. Many are the 4th-7th generation on their family's land trying to find the best way to ensure future financial success for a family business. It’s becoming harder and harder to make a living in agriculture and we offer some creative strategies to start a new business from the ground up or add to the current business model for additional revenue without a lot of start up expense. The model is "You Can Do It" - so we teach participants how to build their own website in a day, sell their products online, brand their business with updated logo variations and vision boards.”
