The Deluge Ripstop Fishtail W is inspired by a variety of U.S. military issue fishtail parkas. The “fishtail” nickname derived from the long back section of the parka which bears a resemblance to the tail of a fish. From the 1960s forward, Alpha Industries was awarded government contracts to produce these pragmatic parkas for the U.S. military.
