We're taking a look at some of the pigs in our collection, to celebrate #yearofthepig.
1. Chinese belt toggle or 'zhuizi', used as counterweights for bags hung on men's belts. Used prior to 1940 when western clothing replaced traditional Chinese clothing

2. Drinking cups in the form of pig's trotters. Porcelain cups made by Sandra Taylor of Sydney in 1978

3. Umbrella handle in the shape of a pig head. Made from horn in Australia, c. 1890-1920

4. Titled ‘My Pig Is Looking for Food’, this moulded and painted earthenware jar was made in 1991 by Aboriginal potter, Irene Entata, at Hermannsburg,NT
