Today, The Duchess of Cornwall visited St. John’s Angell Town Church of England Primary School to open its new library. The library was created to give pupils access to books and to encourage them to read.
HRH gave the library some books to add to their collection, including The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis. The Duchess is an avid reader and is keen to promote the benefits of reading to both children and adults alike.
During her visit, Her Royal Highness also contributed to a mural in the library, depicting the door into Narnia from ‘The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe’ ? PA
