Training a fox Day 1: The JAB is super excited to have mammal trainer Melissa on board to help spearhead training the Ambassadors. Melissa has over 13 years zoo experience training mammals! Viktor came right in and said- oh- if I put two feet on this, I will get a treat.... easy... one and done!!!! .
With most animals, you have to gain the trust of the animal before real training can begin.... not with Viktor and Maksa!!! Maksa was so darn clever, she said- if I put two feet on here, I get a treat... if I put all 4, will I get 2 treats???? I’ll try it!!! .
