A family photo for a v v special announcement!! To give a bit of background for those friends that are new to this page, each year we do our best to raise as much awareness as we can for Staffies and pitbulls. We do this every day by sharing our beautiful boys through photos and videos that best show their silly loving nature. I just feel that the more people see the silly, dopey loving personality of a Staffy the more they will associate our breed with family, love and happiness rather than all the terrible news the media can spread about Staffies. It’s also a huge passion of ours to help out rescues that are filled to the brim with so many pitties and Staffies just like Darren and Phillip who have been thrown in the pound and forgotten about for whatever reason.
In December we held our second annual Blueboys Christmas Appeal and raised $114,000 in 27 hours for 7 rescues. But what we haven’t told you yet is how much our clothing brand @darrenandphillip and our Blueboys calendar raised for 2018!
We started out selling our calendar in 2014 with absolutely no clue of what we would soon be able to achieve in the future. Our first year we donated $2,500 to QLD Staffy rescue and we were so so thrilled! We started @darrenandphillip in 2016 and have been donating 20% of all our proceeds every year since. We’re a fully fledged small business now and even though were small were so proud of how much we can help these rescues by.
So we’re super super proud to announce that in 2018, our clothing brand @darrenandphillip and our Blueboys calendar raised $39,823 for our three rescues @playersforpits @stafford_rescue_victoria @sbtrescue (and a small portion to @qldstaffyrescue) ?????????????♥️♥️♥️ which, including our Christmas Appeal, gives us a grand total for 2018 of $154,580 donated to Staffy and pitbull rescues ??????????♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ (cont in comments) #staffy #weeklyfluff #pitbull
