PORTER flagship storeで展開中の「ACME WHISTLES × PORTER ORIGINAL METROPOLITAN WHISTLE」に新色のブラックが加わりました。ACME WHISTLESは1870年にJoseph Hudson氏により創業されたイギリスのホイッスルブランドで、150年近い長い伝統に裏付けられた高い品質のアイテムを製作し続けています。1912年に沈没したあの豪華客船タイタニック号の乗組員もACMEのホイッスルを使っていたことでも知られています。現在ではオリンピックやFIFAワールドカップなど幅広いスポーツの場で審判に利用されており、国際的評価の高いブランドです。このアイテムは、同ブランドの「Metropolitan」をベースに、「PORTER YOSHIDA」の刻印を入れた別注モデルです。Metropolitanはアクメ社が創業当時に初めて発表したモデルで、現在でもイギリスの警察官が使用しています。アクセサリーとして首にかけたりカバンに結び付けるなど、様々な用途でお使いいただくことができます。新色のブラックは、高級感のあるマットな質感が特徴です。

ACME WHISTLES is a UK brand established in 1870 by Joseph Hudson, which continues to manufacture high quality items for almost 150 years now. The brand is well known for its whistles used by the crew of the famous Titanic which sank in 1912. Currently they are used internationally by referees of the Olympics or the FIFA World Cup etc.
This exclusive item is based on their inline model “Metropolitan” with a special “PORTER YOSHIDA” engraving. The Metropolitan is the most historic model from Acme and is still used by the UK policemen. You could also use it as an accessory by hanging it over your neck or tying it on your bag etc. as well.
