As I sit here right now even though I kind of knew it was coming it’s hard when one of your mentors passes. When I was 13 I sat and listened to James Ingram everyday trying to figure out how that sound was coming from a human being . It baffled me . His texture his range his ability to make it seem so effortless was something I envied and tried to emulate . He will always be one of the greatest to me and his voice and his music will be on my playlist forever ???? sleep well my friend #ripjamesingram
