Follow Tokyo-based hair stylist @ohta_seiya’s story this week.

“I loved to draw from a young age and I always loved art as a child. When I found fashion images on social media platforms, I realized that art and fashion are basically the same thing. Then I started to think about doing hair.

“I started cutting my friends’ hair when I was 14 years old. I went to Nippon Beauty Academy for two years, then I started working at a salon in Tokyo called Lim when I was 20. I’m 22 now, I’m still new to the industry and I’m always learning.”
