Albert Einstein famously said “nationalism is an infantile disease, the measles of mankind.” I agree with this sentiment and I’m curious how far can this concept be extended to other areas that divide us. Politics? Religion? Gender? Race? I know these are controversial questions but I wonder if when we are behind screens not talking about issues around these things divide us we can see how similar we are. It pains me to see anyone who feels they can’t express themselves in the way that they want to because their label/community looks down on it. At the same time it’s inspiring to see how far we’ve come in a short time to break down these walls. Do you agree? Disagree?
