Starting off #ScienceSunday with a pH indicator you can make at home!
The anthocyanin in red cabbage makes it an indicator that allows one to test the acidity/alkalinity of substances one may find. The pH spectrum while testing with the cabbage ranges from reds to blues and all the way to yellow. Reds will be acidic while the green/yellow substances will indicate alkaline substances.
