He wasn’t the fastest. His weird 3-seater TT wasn’t the prettiest. He didn’t always say the best things that would keep him out of a fight. But he was a fixture in Baja and Off Road Racing. He would always help anyone that needed it (pulled me out of the silt twice) and always offered insight and advice when he could. He didn’t even get mad when I put him in the wall in a PRO2 race.
