#TaipeiDangdai: Georg Baselitz's monumental painting, "5 mal endwärts," 2018, is currently on display in our booth at Taipei Dangdai.

Baselitz’s “5 mal endwärts" (meaning “five times endwards”) is a towering example of Baselitz’s now iconic inverted figures. The work, picturing three male and two female inverted figures standing side by side, is akin to a classical frieze, and is painted on a large-scale un-stretched canvas on the studio floor.
