This is the first of 2 Mike Horn Edition Submersible to be released. This is the 47mm #Panerai #PAM00984. In conjunction with Horn, Panerai set out to create a watch that does not abuse the Earth and builds on sustainable materials. For the first time ever in watch making they used a material they called EcoTitanium which actually is made of 80grams of recycled Titanium for the case. Continuing with that theme the strap is made out of recycled plastic (PET). For every 3 bottles that they recycle they are able to make a strap for the watch. Even the box that it comes with made out of recycled plastics (As with all of the new Submersible line watches from this year.

You will notice that the dial features a sub-second dial very much like the LAB-ID. Another part they took is that the actual writing is on the sapphire itself and not on the dial which gives it a very interesting effect as you can see in the video.
