Photo by @iantehphotography | A while back I spent time with a traditional rice community high up on Mount Halimun in Java. Their rice growing methods spanned many generations. In this shot, a group of women from the village prepare food in the communal kitchen. It is a traditional custom that any visitor is always welcomed with food at the communal centre known as the Imah Gede, hence the kitchen is always busy and especially during special occasions. #indonesia #halimun #adatculture #ricefarming #cooking
