The Isle of Iona, Scotland. The Scottish Colourist Francis Cadell (1883-1937) visited Iona most summers from 1912, depicting the North End of the island in particular in all its myriad guises. The island offered an inexhaustible supply of subjects for the artist and each day he would find a new vista to paint or return to a favourite spot to capture the ever changing weather and light.
