The Birthday weekend continues! My @chintwins turned 44 yet looks 22 but is wise like 88... #family FYI I made the cake, it’s a lemon drizzle sponge cake that my mum taught me how to make when I was a young boy - 4 eggs, 8oz of unsalted butter, 8oz of caster sugar, 8oz of self raising flour, grated lemon rind blended together and baked at 350degrees for 35minutes, left to cool, sliced in half and lemon curd spread throughout, put back together, squeeze a full lemon into a pan and dissolve 2oz of sugar into the juice and drizzle over cake, leave to cool and sprinkle with powered sugar xx #recipes p.s. secret ingredient is ❤️
